AIS Celebrated International Food & Cultural Event, Worldfest 2018
On Sunday 28th October, Atlanta International School celebrated Worldfest, a community event that celebrates the diversity and culture of the school.
The main attraction at Worldfest was the food tasting, with delicious dishes, presented on colorful stalls, representing over 30 countries. Guests could mingle and explore cuisines ranging from Australia to Zimbabwe whilst taking in the many other attractions.
Juggling, arts and crafts, a climbing wall, bouncy castles, competitions, live music, including the school choirs, and dancing from many nations were amongst the highlights on offer, all spread out around the stunning campus (in March 2018 AIS was honored by Architectural Digest magazine as Georgia's most beautiful private high school).
The event was created due to an army of willing parent volunteers who, between them, gave 500 volunteer hours on the day and countless more as they planned, cooked and created this unique, flagship event.
