Our mission to develop “extraordinary individuals who will shape the 21st Century” has always been founded on our three pillars of Rigorous IB Curriculum, World-Class Language Learning and Inclusive, Multicultural Community.
External forces compel us to evolve and expand on our pillars, and to recommit to our students’ development of a Global Mindset. We must design experiences that enable our learners to become Adaptable, capable thinkers who demonstrate Perseverance and Resilience; we must create an environment that provides ample opportunities for Collaborative Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
In our goals for this three-year rolling strategic plan, we strive to consider our programs with a view to our history and our future. How do we build on 30 years of accomplishment in international education? What are the structures, schedules and processes we need to support student learning? In which areas do we need to evolve our programs? What new ways of working should we consider? How should we think about learning spaces throughout our campus? And the most important question remains -- How do we best prepare our students for the world outside of AIS?
