Charitable gifts are an important part of every independent school’s healthy financial profile.

Each year, approximately 10% of the AIS operating budget, which supports every aspect of school life, comes from contributions to the Eagles Fund and other gifts from donors.

Your gift to the Eagles Fund, in an amount that is meaningful to you, is greatly appreciated and sends an important message to the larger community, especially foundations and corporations considering investing in AIS. Indeed, 100% participation in the Eagles Fund by Board of Trustees, Faculty & Staff, and Parents demonstrates a deep commitment to and belief in AIS, its mission, and its future.

Gifts to the Eagles Fund allow AIS to:
  • recruit and retain the highly skilled faculty necessary to deliver AIS’ mission through robust academic offerings as an IB World school committed to extensive language-acquisition programming
  • provide need-based financial aid to students who would not otherwise be able to attend AIS

  • maintain facilities and learning spaces conducive to innovation and collaboration

  • Matching Gifts

Many employers offer Matching Gift programs, which match the monetary gifts their employees make. In some cases, employers will match contributions from employees' spouses, board of directors and, even, retired employees. Matching Gift programs are a great way to double, possibly even triple, the size of your gift. Please contact your company's Personnel Director or Matching Gifts Coordinator for details on how to participate.
