Summer Camps
Atlanta International School (AIS) camps offer an enriching summer experience filled with fun, new friends and opportunities to learn about the world and each other!
Language camps in French, Spanish, German, and Chinese are available to campers of all skill levels. This is a great way to introduce your child to different cultures and broaden their ability to communicate with people all over the world.
Campers can participate in a huge variety of camps, including Playball, Young Architects, Capoeira, Arts, Filmmaking, Chess, That’s Sew Fun and LEGO!

ABC Spectacle: 4K & 5K
It’s time to join the fun of ABC Spectacle. This interactive camp will cover all points, and without even noticing, your child will: •Recognize and name all uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet, • Isolate and pronounce the initial sounds in CVC Words, •Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences. Every day, we will sing and dance to the rhythms of ABC songs and do the ABCs smart moves. During gathering time, we will brainstorm and find words (as many as we can) with the target beginning sound. There will be a variety of fun engaging activities to write, print, build, sculpt and paint colorful alphabets

AIS Eagles Basketball Ball Handling & Scoring Skills Camp (Half Day): Grades 6 - 8
Join the AIS basketball coaching staff as we focus on all aspects of shooting including footwork, finishing, post moves, and making the extra pass. Campers will refine their shooting technique, with drills that break down the shooting process and focus on proper footwork. Campers will work on shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, free throws, and more through a mix of shooting drills, shooting games and game scenarios.

AIS Eagles Girls & Boys Basketball Camp (Half Day): 5K - Grade 8
This session will focus on individual skill development and team competition through game play and contests. A strong focus on fundamental development of ball handling, shooting, and defense that aligns with our AIS Basketball program at the high school level. Camp offers a week of encouraging yet competitive drills, stations, and off-court activities to help improve your overall skill set. Players of all abilities will develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

AIS Eagles Multi-Sports Camp (Half Day): 5K - Grade 8
Our Multi-Sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this week we combine multiple sports into one fun-filled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through scrimmages, skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week, each camper will walk away with knowledge of (2 or 3) new sports along vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self- discipline.

AIS Eagles Soccer Camp (Half Day): 5K - Grade 8
Calling all budding soccer players! Join us for a summer soccer camp at AIS! Our AIS coaches aim to develop players both technically and tactically. Filled with fun, competitive drills and games, the camp will help soccer players of all abilities improve their soccer skills and their understanding of the game. It will also provide players with the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, build confidence, and most importantly have fun! This camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. By the end of the camp, your camper will have learned new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, made new friends, and have improved their skills preparing them to play during recess or league play!

AIS Eagles Sport Medicine Camp: Grades 6 - 12
Eagles Sports Medicine Workshop is back for year 3 in 2023. This 5 day workshop, held on the campus of AIS, is designed to help middle and high school students interested in the field of sports medicine gain a knowledge and understanding of the field through a hands on approach to Athletic Training. Throughout the week, students will learn the basics of anatomy and physiology, taping and wrapping, common injuries and rehabilitation associated with those injuries, American Heart Association CPR certification, and emergency on-field care. At the end of the week, students will return to their respective high schools with a better understanding of the field and feel more confident as an athletic training student aide.

AIS Eagles Track & Field Camp (Half Day): 5K - Grade 5
Train for every event and special!
Sprints - Start and acceleration technique, maximum velocity, sprint mechanics, and relay exchange work
Distance - Focus, proper mechanics, reprogramming the nervous system, reduce oxygen consumption, training techniques, and prevent injury
Hurdles - 100/110m, 300m & 400m, proper hurdle technique, rhythm, perfect lead leg alteration, and race modeling strategy and tactics
Throws - Developing the relationship between the athlete and the implement; improving proprioception and technical throwing efficiency
Jumps - Sprint mechanics, preparation, take off, flight phase and landing.

AIS Eagles Volleyball Camp (Half Day): 5K - Grade 8
This camp is designed to teach the game of volleyball in a relaxed and fun environment. The focus will be on individual player development with all aspects of the game being taught by experienced coaches who are passionate about the game of volleyball. Campers will improve technique, skill development and individual self confidence. We will provide a positive environment so each camper will gain confidence as a volleyball player while improving their physical skills!

American Sign Language Camp: Grades 3 - 8
The goal of American Sign Language (ASL) camp is to take students who have no knowledge of sign language, and make them comfortable and confident with learning and communicating in sign language within a wide variety of situations in and outside the Deaf Community. This week, we'll learn about culture, we'll learn sign language, and we'll learn to play various games using sign language. This is a camp you don't want to miss out on!

All camp fees include a $35 non-refundable registration fee and all camp changes incur a $35 administrative fee.
All rising 4K & 5K camps are only open to current AIS students

- Free early drop off at 8:00 a.m.
- Morning Snack provided (lunch to be brought from home)

Refund & Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made more than 21 days prior to the start of camp will be refunded in full minus the non-refundable deposit of $35 which covers the fees we incur processing and refunding your reservation. Camp refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 21 days of the start of camp.
If a family must cancel, for any reason within 24 hours of registering, we will issue a full refund, less the $35 non-refundable deposit, provided that the cancellation occurs 21 days before the start of their program.
