Secondary School Sports

The image shows two basketball players on a basketball court, with one player in a white jersey dribbling the ball and the other player in a black jersey defending him. The background includes a scoreboard and other basketball-related elements.

At Atlanta International School, representing the AIS Eagles Community on the field, the court, or wherever the competition takes place is a huge source of pride for our students.

We are proud to have a no-cut Middle School policy, all the while competing for the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Championships in each of our varsity sports. Our Junior Varsity (JV) and Varsity teams are governed by GHSA and the Middle School (MS) teams are members of the Metro Atlanta Athletic Conference.

In addition to our Athletics programs, Secondary School students also take regular Physical Health Education classes as part of the IB curriculum.Grades 6 -10 take five P.H.E classes during their nine day class schedule.

(All students in secondary school must dress out for physical and health education classes in the proper kit. This includes: AIS shorts (or longer pants in colder weather), AIS t-shirt (or sweatshirt and/or a long sleeved t-shirt in colder weather) and non-marking athletic shoes.

Order kits items through our supplier.)

If you are interested in a sport that you don't see listed, please let us know and we look forward to seeing you on our beautiful track, turf field, weight room, or in one of our two gyms on campus.
