AISx + CMC Atlanta
Atlanta International School (AIS) is proud to partner with Community Music Centers of Atlanta (CMC Atlanta), bringing exceptional music education to the AIS Sandy Springs Campus.
This partnership combines advanced musical training with academic excellence, offering students in Grades 6–12 the opportunity to pursue their artistic ambitions while continuing a globally recognized AISx International Baccalaureate education.
Through the AISx + CMC Atlanta program, students benefit from specially designed daily schedules that integrate full academic instruction and support with deep immersion in music training, performance and production in an environment that nurtures artistic development. Transportation between AIS campuses is available, helping students move seamlessly between their academic and musical commitments.
Together, AISx and CMC provide a flexible pathway for students who want to grow as musicians without compromising the strength of their education.

Program Tracks
Starting in the 26/27 school year, we will have two CMC Atlanta program options:
Atlanta Music High School: Grades 9-12. AISx track and CMC Atlanta course work that includes private lessons, theory and musicianship course work, small ensemble performance, production and portfolio development. Up to 18 hours per week.
Atlanta Music High School prep: Grades 6-8. AISx track and CMC Atlanta course work that includes private lessons, theory and musicianship course work, small ensemble performance, production and portfolio development. Up to 12 hours per week.
Both blend CMC excellence with the world-renowned Atlanta International School International Baccalaureate academic curriculum.
