We are a private, non-profit, International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for 3K - Grade 12, featuring full and dual-immersion language programs.

We have both day and boarding programs.

Application Fee

There is a $100 application fee per student. This is non-refundable.

Matriculation Fees

We apply a one-time fee charged to each new student enrolled, the matriculation fee. Siblings receive a discount as outlined below.

Tuition

The tuition fees outlined below are for the academic year. Books and some technology are supplied. Charges for extended field trips are billed as due.

*The school will offer a 2% discount for tuition payments made by cash, check or bank transfer. This discount applies only to the tuition balance and will be applied at the time of payment.

**The payment gateway will assess a convenience fee for tuition payments made by credit card. This fee school will not be charged to advance tuition deposits, insurance and matriculation fees due at enrollment. The fee will be assessed at the time of payment and varies according to credit card type.

Tuition payments under Option A can be made by cash, wire transfer, personal check drawn on a U.S. Bank, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, or American Express.

Tuition payments under Options B or C require authorization of direct electronic payment from any U.S. checking account or credit card. Option C is only available to recipients of Financial Aid.

For financial aid recipients, net tuition due and installment amounts will be available with the award letter. Financial Aid Applicants not awarded an amount must select from payment plans A or B, and are responsible for the full balance of advance tuition and matriculation fees based upon the payment plan selected.

Tuition Refund Insurance

Tuition Refund Insurance (TRI) is available through a third-party provider. Details are available here in a separate brochure. TRI is optional for all payment plans, including financial aid recipients. Payment for the premium is due with the enrollment deposit and the administrative fee, where applicable.

AIS is committed to providing financial assistance to admit and retain qualified students regardless of their families ability to pay

The application process for admission to AIS is independent of the application process for financial aid.

Financial aid is based on documented financial need. We partner with Clarity in our financial aid application process. Clarity provides analysis which generates an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) that is a critical component of AIS’ financial aid decision. AIS uses the EFC as a baseline; however, AIS must take into consideration the total financial aid budget and the school’s policies and priorities. Therefore, the financial aid awarded to a family may not meet the demonstrated need documented by Clarity.

All financial aid applications are subject to verification, and should discrepancies be discovered in the information provided to the Financial Aid Committee, we reserve the right to withdraw financial assistance at any time during the school year.

Helpful Financial Aid Information

Financial Aid is a self-managed process. It is parents’ responsibility to keep track of the financial aid application from the beginning to the end and to adhere to the deadlines. AIS does not collect the required tax documents; tax documents must be uploaded or mailed directly to Clarity.

Financial Aid Dates & Deadlines 2024 - 2025

October 1, 2023: Families can begin the financial aid application process.

February 15, 2024: Recommended deadline for families to be ready to complete the Clarity application and upload all supporting documents.

March 1, 2024: Completed application and copy of all supporting documents due in Clarity. All completed applications must be visible to AIS. Allow 48 hours for Clarity to process your documents.

March 30, 2024: Decisions on awards emailed to families.

New and renewal applications completed after March 1, 2024, will not be considered in the April 1 awards and must go through the appeals process. Appeals are only considered as long as funds remain available.

Financial Aid Application Requirements 2024 - 2025

Submit an online application here.
Upload copies of any 2023 W2s and/or 1099s, as well as all other supporting documents by March 1. The 2022 Federal IRS Form 1040 with all supporting schedules will be directly submitted by the IRS after a signed waiver is received from the family.
Upload copies of your November 2023, December 2023 and January 2024 bank statements.
Upload copies of your most recent non-retirement Investment Account statements.
If Medical/Dental/Unusual Expenses are indicated on the application, supporting documents must be uploaded.
Shareholders, investors or partners with 20% or more ownership in a business entity must submit copies of their Forms 1120S and/or Form 1065 with all Schedule K-1s by May 1st.
An official Tuition Statement with proof of payment must be submitted for children in other tuition-charging schools.
IRS Form 1098-T must be submitted if Higher Education expenses have been incurred.

Note: In the case of separation or divorce, EACH PARENT must submit a PFS and supporting documents. In the case of unmarried parents, any parent or partner with custody or regular visitation must submit tax documents.
