Meet the Team

Reid Mizell

Head of Admission, Marketing and Financial Aid

One of the founding board members of the school, Reid holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Emory University,  as well as a Bachelor of Arts in French and a Master of Business Administration in International Marketing from Georgia State University. 

Reid has overseen the Admissions team for 14 years at AIS and has seen the school grow in size to the 1325 student body we have today. Reid’s experience at AIS, along with moving her own family and children overseas, gives her unparalleled expertise in helping families make the right decisions for their own children.

Olga Nobleton

Primary School Admission Manager, 3K - 5K

Olga spent her Primary School years in her native Ukraine, moved to Germany for Middle School and Canada for her High School and College education. After graduating from OCAD University in Toronto, Olga worked in Mexico before starting an internship with the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC South) in Atlanta. 

Once settled in Atlanta, Olga continued  in the non-profit sector as well as teaching at the German School of Atlanta before joining the AIS Admission Team in 2012.

Olga is a passionate advocate for multilingual education and is a proud parent of two AIS primary students. Olga is fluent in German, Russian, Ukrainian and English and holds an MBA. In her spare time, Olga enjoys exploring Atlanta with her French-American husband and their three children.

Kirsten Wing

Primary School Admission Manager, Grades 1 - 5

Kirsten was born overseas and attended international schools in a variety of countries. She studied in Australia, Russia and Japan before coming to AIS for her high school years. She has a BA in Communications from Emerson College in Boston and began her career in the film and television industry in Los Angeles. 

Kirsten joined the AIS admission team in 2015 after moving back to Atlanta from Abu Dhabi, UAE where she experienced the international school admission process with her own two children. Kirsten’s childhood abroad and extensive world travel has driven a passion for the value of an internationally minded and inclusive education. She believes strongly in the mission of AIS to instill these important values into the students.

Anna Burns

Secondary School Admissions Manager, Grades 6 - 12

Anna joined AIS in June 2022, arriving from Savannah River Academy in Augusta, GA where she taught Primary School Science and Social Studies and Middle School Spanish. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Spanish and from the University of Oxford in 2020 with a Masters Degree in Latin American Studies. 

Anna is a huge supporter of the International Baccalaureate curriculum and its emphasis on intercultural communication. Her linguistic skills, classroom experience and academic background both abroad and here in the US leave her uniquely placed to appreciate and articulate our Secondary School offerings.

Debra Kopec

Financial Aid & Enrollment Insights Manager

Debra joined AIS in June 2019 bringing with her some 20 years of experience in financial aid in independent schools. 

In addition to financial aid, Debra has a varied background in accounting, financial management and human resources, as well as prior auditing experience. When she is not at work Debra enjoys spending time with her family and loves to read.
