College Counseling

AIS students are uniquely prepared through the school’s rigorous IB curriculum, language-immersion, and community to excel academically and socially at colleges and universities around the world.

We appreciate that finding the right college is about finding the best fit for each student.

Applying to college is an exciting time in students’ lives, but it can be overwhelming. We’re here to make that experience as enjoyable as possible, while encouraging students to use their college search as a time for reflection and self-understanding.

AIS college counselors provide individualized guidance in the search and application for universities worldwide. Through individual, family, and group meetings, we help students identify colleges and universities that best fit our their academic and personal interests, needs, and goals. 

(Please note that this web page and the AIS College Counseling Office use the terms "college" and "university" interchangeably to denote a four-year, Bachelor's degree-granting institution.)
