Instructions
- Make sure you choose the grade the student is entering in 2008-2009, not the one the student just completed.
- Almost every grade, in every language, has assignments. These assignments must be completed either before or during the beginning of the school year. Be sure to read the assignment carefully and follow its instructions.
Barnes & Noble English Summer Reading Book Fair
Please take time to buy your English summer reading books for school and vacation at the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Book Fair from May 18 through 24 at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in the Peach Shopping Center at 2900 Peachtree Road.
The special AIS table will be featured May 19,20,21, and 22 and AIS library staff or parent volunteers will be at Barnes & Noble on those days to assist you.
The English Summer Reading Book Fair is a fundraiser for the library and last spring raised several thousand dollars to expand its collections. If you SUBMIT A VOUCHER TO THE CASHIER OR OTHERWISE LET THE CASHIER KNOW PRIOR TO THE SALE that you are with AIS, Barnes & Noble will donate a portion of the purchase price to the school for our library collections! Most items in the store, including books, music and DVDs, will count toward the sales total. The voucher form is set forth below. Please note that AIS will benefit from a purchase made any time between May 18 and May 24, so long as the cashier is notified IN ADVANCE that it is an “AIS Book Fair purchase.”

Please plan to visit the special AIS table at Barnes & Noble (2900 Peachtree Road location) with your child from May 19 through May 22, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. to purchase English summer reading for the entire family. Members of the library staff or parent volunteers will be there to assist you from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Barnes & Noble staff will be happy to assist you at any time during the entire Book Fair week. Please do not forget to tell the cashier you are with AIS BEFORE you present the items for purchase.
Ordering Foreign Languages Books
If you miss our Foreign Language Book Fair, you can still order your books online from World of Reading at www.wor.com. AIS will receive a percentage of all sales from WOR. Don't miss it!
