Kaleidoscope After School (KAS)
The Kaleidoscope After School program is for those families who need to pick up their children later in the day. Offered daily for children ages 4K through Grade 8, we also offer full-day and half-day camps when classes are not in session (most holidays, school half-days, etc.)
To register your child for this program, see below for rates, rules and registration forms. We kindly ask that all parents familiarize themselves with the After School Policies and Procedures document as well as the Camp Policy guidelines.

Grades 4K to 5
- Days/Times: Daily, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
In Grades 4K to 5, Kaleidoscope offers a variety of age-appropriate activities. For children in 4K to Grade 2, the program focuses on students developing skills such as thinking, cooperation, self confidence, and leadership, while having lots of fun!
Grades 3 to 5 work on building strong children from the inside out by teaching self esteem, leadership, community awareness, cooperation, and logical thinking/decision making.
All children in the program have an opportunity to play on the playground, have computer time, snack, and creative opportunities as well as inside activities and homework help.

For children in Grades 6 to 8, AIS offers a program designed just for Middle School students. Middle School is a critical transition between Primary School and Upper School and there is a lot of pressure to learn, in a short time, critical skills in time management, decision making, setting and attaining goals, as well as developing leadership skills. This Middle School program is designed to do just that, within a social setting.
The adult-supervised program is designed to be self-motivating, so Middle School students are encouraged to take active roles in leading the program at every level-from planning activities and outings, to getting homework done and having an opportunity just to socialize.
Families who want their child to be able to watch sporting events during after-school hours must fill out the permission form below.

Kaleidoscope Half-Day Camp
Half-Day Camp is available on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month (faculty professional development days). We provide lunch for everyone and an afternoon snack for the Primary School grades. Please see the school calendar for camp dates and registration deadlines.

Kaleidoscope Full-day Camp
Full-day camps are available for teacher-only work days, conference days and some school holidays. Children are provided two snacks and a lunch. Please see the school calendar for camp dates and registration deadlines.
