[photos] The Atlanta International School holds language camps throughout the summer. The campers are expoded to their choice of language throughout the day at the camp. Each two-week session culminated in a performance presented in all five languages learned at the camp. Students are immersed in their language of choice and learn through art, sport, music, dance, cooking, math, drama, science, horticulture, journal writing, poetry, debate, puppetry and self-reflection. The day is structured around developing the students' language useage through activities designed to learn another language and stimulate their multiple intelligences. Journal writing was encouraged.
