WorldFest 2008
Sunday, October 26, 2008, from 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
For those of you who are new to AIS, WorldFest is our annual family fall festival and a highlight of our year. If you haven’t had lunch at WorldFest, it’s a must – Where else can you go to sample phenomenal home made food from around the world?
A Taste of Nations is a WorldFest tradition and is the anchor of this great event. After lunch, stay to enjoy a multitude of cultural activities from over 20 countries and regions from the around the world:
As you will see, this year’s event has much to offer in addition to great food:
- Enjoy over 25 performances featuring AIS students and other professional groups.
- Test your pitching arm or hockey skills at one of the many game booths.
- Enjoy storytellers, dancers or a fashion show of traditional dress from different nations
- Get a Henna Tattoo or have your name written in Persian and check out the many cultural crafts
- The Center of Puppetry Arts will perform a demonstration of puppets used around the world.
- Piñatas, Cake Walks and Crepe Making demonstrations
This is a great chance to show off our amazing school to your friends, families and neighbors. It’s open to the public so please have them join in the festivities.
There is something for everyone!!!
