After-School Programs

Stay and Play
AIS recognizes that many of our families have one or both parents working or last minute emergencies when sometimes it is not possible to pick your child up until later in the day. Let your child make new friends, have a play date, or simply enjoy a variety of great age-appropriate activities. AIS's signature after-school program, Kaleidoscope, starts right after classes let out where students 4K through Grade 5 can stay until 6:30 p.m., daily. All children in the program have snack, get to play on the playground, plant in the garden, and do arts and crafts, as well as have inside activities and some quiet time for homework. We also offer a middle-school program just for students in Grades 6-8 from 4-6:30 p.m., daily. This adult-supervised program is designed to be self-motivating, so Middle School students are encouraged to take active roles in leading the program at every level -- from planning activities and outings, to getting homework done and having an opportunity just to socialize. In addition to Kaleidoscope, there are also several enrichment classes such as tae kwon do, dance and chess. We also offer half-day & full-day camps on teacher conference days and some school holidays.
