Online Application

To submit an application for admission to Atlanta International School, you may:

• Complete the online admissions application, press the submit button at the bottom of the form, and your application will be transmitted to AIS.

The $100 Test and Application Fee must accompany the application. This is a non-refundable fee. When submitting the application, you may pay the application fee by MasterCard, Visa or American Express. If you do not wish to transmit your card number across the Internet, please call the main office at (404) 841-3840 and ask to be transferred to the Business Office to submit the payment information.

Please submit applications by the following dates:

• Applications for grades 4K - 12 must be submitted by January 31. All application materials (teacher evaluations, parent questionnaire and transcripts) must also be submitted by January 31.
• There is no deadline for applications from outside the US, however, due to class size restrictions, families making late applications are advised to contact the admission office prior to applying.

• Screening and Testing

Applicants to 4K and 5K are screened at AIS during the month of February for readiness to enter our dual language program. All other applicants to primary school are tested in reading, writing and mathematics during the month of March.

• SSAT (APPLICANTS FOR GRADES 6-12)

Applicants to grades 6 and above are required to take the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test). You can find more information at www.ssat.org. You may register to take the SSAT at www.ssat.org. Tests should be taken between November and January in order to ensure results arrive before the application deadline. Please note that SSAT taken after February is too late for our Admission Process. Applicants for grades 6-12 are invited to interview during the month of March. The Admission Office will confirm the screening date directly with each applicant.

Applicants to 4K and 5K are screened for readiness to enter our dual language program. All applicants to primary school are tested in reading, writing and mathematics.
