Applicant Assessment

School Applicants (Grades 4K-5)

Applicants to 4K and 5K are screened at AIS for readiness to enter our dual language program. All other applicants to primary school are tested in reading, writing and mathematics.

Secondary School Applicants (Grades 6-12)

All applicants for grades 6-12, whose native language is English, are required to take the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test). You can find more information and register in your area at www.ssat.org. SSAT tests should be taken between November and January in order to ensure results arrive before the application deadline. Please note that SSAT taken after February is too late for local applicants. Our school ID code is: 1434.

The Admission Office will confirm the screening date and time directly with each applicant.
