'Trick or Treat' for UNICEF surpasses goal, raises $4,500
For the fourth year, AIS Middle and Primary School students participated in Trick or Treat (ToT) for UNICEF. This year, the challenge was to raise more than the previous year (over $2,000), with a set goal of $2,500 or more. I am extremely pleased to announce that we greatly surpassed this goal and raised a spectacular $4,515.97!
Congratulations to all who helped raise so much in support of UNICEF's work to immunize, educate, provide health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation to children around the world. Congratulations, 5th Graders: for the third year straight, you succeeded in raising the most ($649.14) of any AIS class. You are amazing, and your well deserved lunchtime pizza party will be held very soon (date to be announced). Grades 4 and 1 came in very close, collecting $597.63 and $595.29, respectively: we're very proud of you! Thanks to all of you, AIS has raised more than $9,000 overall in just three years (four campaigns). This is a tremendous achievement, and we hope to see many more great achievements in the coming years.
Special thanks to:
- Mrs. Prodanic in the Primary School office
- Mr. Sohi, Head of Primary School
- Mrs. Huitt, Head of Middle School
- All teachers in Primary and Middle School
- All students who participated in the collection
- And 9th Graders Michael Giblin, Timur Selimovic and Elliot Forman for their help in the management of this year's campaign.
