Grade 3 Students Invite Parents to Arts Presentation
Students in Grade 3 completed their Creative Minds unit, during which they learned how, throughout the world, people express themselves through the arts. They looked into how time, place and personal experiences shape the work of an artist, explored different techniques and styles of various artists and developed an appreciation of art from around the world. The students showcased what they learned in the unit by inviting their parents to an arts presentation. The art display was followed by performances of dance, song, mime, and circus routines, acts that were created by the students in their music, PE, and English classrooms.
