AIS Winter Camp 2005

When: Monday, December 19 through Wednesday, December 21: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Camp: Camp will focus on the themes of the various holidays celebrated at this time around the world, with specific emphasis on different countries and cultures. The activities of the days in each language will enable students to appreciate the diversity of our world including that of the campers. The day is centered around developing the students’ language usage through activities designed to learn another language; participants are grouped according to language ability in collaborative learning units. There is at least one kinesthetic activity each day, such as sport and dance. In addition there is at least one music or art activity per day. Generous instructor/pupil ratios enable instructors and students to create a rich environment in which to learn the language. This program will be held in the SAC mezzanine.

Cost: $230, which includes tuition, materials, lunch and a snack. A per day option is available at $80 which includes lunch and a snack.
