Mission Accomplished: Caribbean Relief Project

Mission Accomplished: Caribbean Relief Project Mission Accomplished: Caribbean Relief Project

Thanks to so many of you, the Caribbean Relief Project was a huge success. All items have been boxed and delivered. Many thanks to our parent volunteers Jacqueline McGraw, Catalina and Antoine Scott and Andrea Vaughn, who donated their time to help box items and their vehicles to deliver items to the containers located in Norcross and Roswell. Several students were also involved with this project; Arian Burns, Anjani and Ife’Asha Heyward-James, Ashley and Megan McGraw-Pennington, Madison Scott and Shelby Vaughn.

The Parent Organization donated 69 cases of water. Our IT department supplied large computer boxes for shipping. And our wonderful maintenance crew donated boxed goods and provided storage space and carts to move all the heavy boxes.

The following is a list of items delivered:

  • Clothes -- 57 boxes
  • Shoes -- 6 boxes
  • Canned Goods -- 18 boxes
  • Water -- 77 cases
  • Linen -- 1 box
  • Plastics/Pots -- 2 boxes
  • Diapers -- 2 boxes
  • Books -- 5 boxes

If you still have items to donate, please box them and send me an e-mail. I can be reached at Ladyv58@hotmail.com. I will make arrangements to pick-up your items from school and deliver them to the containers. Rice, dried beans and school supplies are a few examples of needed items.

Thank you all for your support of this project. Your kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated.
