Parent to Parent Classes

Parent to Parent is a video-based program that unlocks the power of the parent. The eight videos are aimed at creating confident parents, capable of guiding their children around the influences of today’s “toxic” culture. The program helps parents with a variety of real-world issues, including prevention techniques, how to recognize potential problems, and the importance of trust and setting consequences. We will have four two-hour sessions, facilitated by AIS parents Louise Geddes and Cindy Rees.

Dates: Wednesdays, October 19, 26, and November 2, 16, 7-9 p.m. Location: SAC, Multi-Purpose Room
Cost: $50 per person/couple

Networking Meetings

PO Parent Programs presents Networking Meetings on the first Friday each month at 8:30 am in the SAC, to discuss specific issues related to our children’s activities. 

October 7 topic: Parties
What are our children doing?
How much supervision is needed?
What are the risks? 

AIS Head of Counseling Sandy Ferko has agreed to join us briefly to kick this off. All AIS parents are invited. Come, meet other parents, be informed, share your insights!
