AIS Welcomes New Board Members

Steve Huyghe

Mr. Steve Huyghe is CEO of AW Hutchinson & Associates, a construction litigation firm. Steve used to work in real estate development and has over 35 years of experience in general contracting, construction management, and dispute resolution. The company currently has offices in Atlanta, Detroit and Los Angeles. Steve will serve as the Board’s Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee. He and his wife Natalie’s daughter, Audrey, started in 4K and is now in Grade 1 French.

Guenter Lauber

Mr. Guenter Lauber is President of Siemens Dematic - Electronics Assembly Systems. Siemens Dematic, a subsidiary of Siemens AG, is based in Nuremberg, Germany. It is the world’s leading supplier of logistics and factory automation equipment. Guenter began working for Siemens AG as Head of Sales for Production Control Systems; he was the Head of European Sales for SD EA from 1997 to 2001, and Head of Regional Headquarters Europe before becoming President in October 2002. Guenter and his wife Petra have had two children at AIS since 2002: Dominik in Grade 8 and Jennifer in Grade 7.

Deborah Sudbury

Ms. Deb Sudbury is a partner at the law firm of Jones Day. Deb heads up the Labor & Employment practice in the Atlanta Office. She is a frequent national speaker on employment law and class action defense topics; she is also the author of a book on plant closing laws. Deb and her husband, Dr. Heinz-Bernd Schüttler, have two sons who were in the German track in Primary School, the elder of whom started at AIS in 1995: Benjamin, Grade 10 and Willem, Grade 7.
