WorldFest 2004: A Fun-Filled Family Day
Sunday, October 24, Noon to 5 p.m.
This year’s event promises to be better than ever! Our day will begin with the introduction of the winning design and T-shirt. Join us at the entrance to the auditorium as our winner cuts the ribbon symbolizing the start of WorldFest. T-shirts will go on sale immediately following the Opening Ceremony.
As guests enter they will experience the Taste of Nations. This year we will judge for the “Best Dish” of WorldFest. The winner will receive a $50.00 gift certificate for any one of the Buckhead Life Group Restaurants. Please contact Ellen Dotts at emdotts@earthlink.net for submitting food dishes. Entry forms will be available soon.
By popular demand, we will bring back the giant rock wall plus a new Bungee Jump. We will have lots of excitement for the Lil’ Tots including “Jolly Junction” where the children can ride powered miniature vehicles and jump in a moonwalk. Everyone will have a chance to win prizes as they try their luck at the carnival games. While at play, register to win for a “Moon Bounce” for your next birthday party – a $300.00 value. Hey kids, decorate your own Totem Pole and then join in on the Parade at 4:30 to showcase your creative design. The Arts and Crafts area promises creative new activities for all ages.
