Marlys Brothers
Ms. Marlys Brothers is the second AIS alum to serve on our board. A member of our first graduating class of 1992, Marlys graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada in 1996 with a BA in Economics and a minor in Political Science. Marlys has worked with Canon Canada since 1996 as a Product Marketing Analyst, District Account Executive and most recently as Graphic System Specialist, responsible for the Southeast region for Canon color system sales and dealer support. Her current territory represents sales of over $40 million.
Nicholas Leach
Mr. Nicholas Leach is V.P. and Chief Patent Counsel with Kimberly-Clark Corporation, managing the company’s portfolio of patents, industrial designs, trade secrets and proprietary information. He supervises all Kimberly-Clark patent attorneys, legal and support staff in the U.S. and Europe. Nick also oversees global patent enforcement proceedings and other significant intellectual property matters across all product and/or technology categories. Nick and his wife Leah have two sons at AIS: Colin in Grade 3 and Nicholas in Grade 7.
Shahrokh Rouhani
Dr. Shahrokh Rouhani is President and founder of Newfields, an environmental consulting practice providing technical and management expertise, strategic planning and project coordination. He is also Adjunct Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech. He has published books and journal papers on groundwater and other environmental and geostatistical subjects. Shahrokh and his wife Firouzeh have one daughter, Shiva, in Grade 8 at AIS. Their elder daughter, Nina, graduated from AIS in May 2004 and will be attending Barnard College.
