Join in the Fun and Run!
If the Olympics inspired you, get your sneakers on and join in the fun as we participate in the 8th annual AIS/Garden Hills Fun Run. The event, which starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, takes place in the beautiful neighborhood of Garden Hills. We join up with Garden Hills Elementary School to build a better relationship with our surrounding community. The Fun Run starts on Delmont Road, between the two schools, and winds through the neighborhood covering 1 mile, and 5k, in two different configurations.
In the past, hundreds of students, parents and families have taken part: both long-term committed runners, joggers and lots of walkers. Upon registration, you’ll receive a T-shirt provided by Russell Athletic, and once you have made it across the finish line, you’ll enjoy a selection of delicious breakfast snacks.
