Chorus Provides Inspiration to Free Trade Group
On Thursday, May 20, the Primary School Chorus participated in the Business of the Americas Conference at the World Congress Center. The conference was designed to highlight the diversity of commerce, facilities, neighborhoods, schools, and people of Atlanta. The Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, Georgia Department of Commerce and leading corporations throughout the city hope to bring the Secretariat of the Free Trade of the Americas Association to be based in Atlanta. The 32 students beautifully sang songs of international friendship and wore colorful, traditional costumes to highlight our diversity. The audience applauded with great enthusiasm their wonderful performance. Dr. David Hawley also attended portions of the conference on behalf of the school.
