AIS Students’ Work Selected for Georgia’s High School Arts Competition

Each high school in the district is allowed to submit two pieces of work into Georgia’s High School Arts competition. Grade 12 students, Samantha Whatley and Jenna Sanborn, have had their work selected for the 2008 Fifth Congressional District of Georgia’s High School Arts Competition, which will be exhibited at the Youth Art Connection Gallery during the first two weeks in May. The winning work will be announced at a reception honoring the participants on Friday May 9, 2008 at the gallery at 63 Auburn Avenue, Atlanta, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
