ISAL Group Donates Funds to Adopt-A-Minefield

The International Students Against Landmines (ISAL) group had a busy week at the end of April raising awareness of the devastating effects of landmines on innocent victims in regions all over the world. Activities during ISAL week included fundraisers such as a talent show and a bake sale, Landmines at AIS, as well as a visit from Rev. Joyce Myers Brown, Atlanta Chair of the UN Adopt-A-Minefield during which ISAL presented a donation for $3,500, which will contribute toward clearing minefields in Mozambique.
