Grade 5 Exhibit Demonstrates PYP Culmination

We are proud to present this year's Grade 5 Exhibition to our school community in the library on Tuesday, May 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Grade 5 Exhibition is the highlight of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP). It is structured in such a way that Grade 5 students are challenged to take responsibility for the design, organization and successful completion of an in-depth, collaborative inquiry. The purpose of the exhibition is for students to demonstrate their learning and show how they can apply it to an unfamiliar situation. It provides a good assessment of students' learning throughout our Primary Years Programme.

The central idea of this year's exhibition is "The world faces many issues that deserve our attention," and our students identified and inquired into issues that have both global and local relevance and significance. Their work will be on display in the library during May 21–25. On Tuesday, May 22, from 5–7 p.m., all Grade 5 students will be on hand to present their special projects to the community. Please join us in celebrating their success.
