Chess Team Wins Trophy
The AIS Upper School tournament chess team brought home a second trophy for 2007. Seventeen schools from around the state competed at the Georgia State High School Team Championship held at Emory University on Saturday, March 24. In an amazing comeback, the AIS team tied for sixth place. The team was represented by Axel De Perthuis, Rohan Thompson, Daniel Levine, Joshua Handford, Mehmet Ozelci and Cian OFaolain (team captain).
