Prepare for Fun in the Sun

We are heating up for an awesome summer camp season! Already we have over 50 percent of our enrollments filled and more are pouring in daily. We are excited about the Language Camp in the capable hands of 4K teacher Linda Doulkhani, back for her second year with the help of our fantastic AIS teachers.

Language camp isn’t the only returning program—we have Kaleidoscope, volleyball, basketball, and Lego robotics all on offer again this summer. For our younger athletes we have added a mini-volleyball camp for Primary School students. Students in Grades 2–5 can sign up for a half-day of volleyball where they will have a great time learning basic volleyball skills. Those older students looking to hone their skills and learn techniques to improve their game ought to register fast for our basketball camp with Coach Quentin Moore and for volleyball with Coach Gregg Albright.

New this year will be Tae Kwon Do camp with Master Pius, a world-renowned 7th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has received numerous awards and international recognition for his talents in the sport. This half-day camp will run for three weeks in June and students will learn basic skills, competition skills, and even Olympic-level Tae Kwon Do. The camp is open to students age 5–10 and each camper will receive his/her own uniform. This sport is designed around teaching focus, discipline, self control, and much more.

Also new this year is Camp Stardust with Spring Mason, back with the very successful winter camp they ran in December. Campers will have an amazing experience as they learn how to act in and put on a play. The focus is on the entire theatre group as a team, with everyone working to learn dances, songs and lines, build sets and make costumes for the production. Everyone works together and shares the fame and spotlight as they perform for friends and families on the last Friday afternoon of camp. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a star!

Camps are filling up fast so please register soon or risk missing this summer’s excitement. All of our camp, registration, and payment information can be found online at www.aischool.org/camps. If you have any camp questions, please call Amy Medford at 404-841-3868 or e-mail her at amedford@aischool.org. We will see you this summer!
