Summer Reading Book Fair News
Please take time to buy your English summer reading books for school and vacation at the AIS Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Book Fair on May 23, 24 and 25 at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in The Peach Shopping Center at 2900 Peachtree Road.
The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Book Fair is a fundraiser for the library and last spring raised several thousand dollars to expand its collections. If you present an ais voucher at the time of purchase, Barnes & Noble will donate a portion of the purchase price to the school for our library collections! Most items in the store, including books, music and DVDs, will count toward the sales total. So please use this as an opportunity to purchase summer reading material, music and movies for the whole family.
Vouchers also will be available at the library and the school offices. Please note that vouchers can be used any time between May 20 and May 27, so if you miss the book fair, you can still support the school library by making purchases with the voucher anytime during that week.
Please plan to visit the AIS table at Barnes & Noble (2900 Peachtree Road location) with your child on May 23, 24 or 25, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. to purchase English summer reading for the entire family. Members of the library staff will be there to assist you from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Barnes & Noble staff will be happy to assist you during the book fair, as well as during their regular business hours. Please do not forget to present an AIS voucher at the register when you purchase your books.
Summer Reading Foreign Language Book Fair
This year, the language books for Primary through Upper School in French, Spanish and German, native track and non-native track, will be held in the SAC Mezzanine on Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2, from 2 – 5 p.m., and Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The books will be listed on the AIS website as well as on the website of World of Reading at www.wor.com. There will be no English books for sale, just French, Spanish and German books (and dictionaries). As always, a percentage of all the books purchased from World of Reading will be donated to that language department at AIS. Come purchase summer reading books for your children and help support AIS!
Thank you from the AIS library!
