Spanish Language Movie of the Month

Amigos will hold the foreign language movie of the month on Saturday, June 3 at 1:30 p.m.. It is the animated movie: El Cid, The Legend, a movie released in Spain in 2003. It was the winner of the Goya Prize 2004 and the Barcelona 2004 prize for the best animated movie, and is based on the real history of Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar (1040-1099), who was known as El Cid. El Cid, The Legend is the story of a boy who becomes a man, a man who becomes a hero, and a hero that became a legend that is still alive today. The movie is in Spanish with English subtitles, and is suitable for all ages.
