Primary School Field Days
Atlanta International School’s annual Primary School Field Days will take place on the following dates this year:
Grades 1 and 2 – Tuesday, May 24 (or June 1 in case of rain)
Grades 3, 4 and 5 – Thursday, May 26 (or June 2 in case of rain)
The emphasis for both days will be on fun and participation as you can see from our Field Day motto, “Play fair, play safe, have fun!” The days will also be a celebration of the new skills that students have acquired in PE lessons throughout the year. All students in Grades 1 to 5 will be taking part and will need the following things for the day:
- Sports shoes, shorts and a hat for protection from the sun (All students will be provided with a special Field Day T-shirt when they arrive at school)
- A packed lunch (students who order lunch from the school cafeteria will be able to do so as normal) and plenty to drink
- A water bottle with their name on
- Suntan/sunblock lotion (We recommend SPF 15 is applied at home before the event)
