AIS Students Enjoy Ski Trip to Colorado

This spring break, the AIS PE department sponsored a school trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. It was a wonderful trip, which about 27 people attended. This included four chaperones: Mrs. McDaniel, her husband Mark, Mr. Spencer and his wife Mrs. Lorton, as well as their two adorable children, Elle and Jai. Also attending were Arsalan Akhavan, Peter Beach, Elliot Forman, Bradley Leatherwood, Andrew Wooster, Brian Pettitt–Scheiber, Neema Ebrahim–Zadeh, Jonathan Winston, and Ryan Kristensen, who celebrated his 15th birthday on the trip. These were only the boys, who shared 1 large condo. The girls were split up into two cabins, and their names are Nicole Wilke, Rebecca Geiger, Ula Kulpa, Hannah Melville, Cecilia Winter, Ana Paula Shelley, Parsia Frost, Ivana Lucic, Julie Anquez, Jasmine White, Sarah ‘Austin’ McKenney, and Rana El – Nahas. We all had a great time, spending a total of four days at Breckenridge skiing. Some rogues decided that Keystone would be fun for a day and traveled to the nearby mountain for something new, and they had a great time. Much time was also spent admiring the cute little town and shopping/dining. This has been one of the best spring breaks for most of us, and we hope the trip will happen again in the future!
