Whose House is This?
Please join the AIS Parent Organization for a presentation by AIS Board of Trustees member Dr. Roosevelt Thomas on Tuesday, April 26, 7 p.m. in the auditorium. (Please note that this date was originally set in the calendar for April 12, but that date will now be an Open Forum with the Headmaster).
Dr. Thomas, a leading speaker, consultant, chief executive officer of Roosevelt Thomas Consulting & Training, and president of the American Institute for Managing Diversity, is chairman of Atlanta International School’s Diversity and Cultural Competence Committee. His firm has developed its own trademark tools for diversity management – “any collective mixture characterized by differences, similarities and tensions”. He will show a video based on his latest book, Building a House for Diversity, presenting the audience with a fable about a giraffe and an elephant leading up to the question “Whose house is this?” and leading the following discussion.
