New Website Connects AIS Alumni

At AIS, we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community. From our community principles to our mission statement, these credos speak volumes about where we place our values. In keeping with this standard, we recently launched an online alumni community. This site allows our alumni to keep in touch with their classmates and stay informed about AIS events and accomplishments.

We provided our alumni with the best resources available for their education when they were students at AIS. Now, even after they have graduated, we aim to continue providing them with opportunities to foster a value we helped to establish -- a love for lifelong learning. With this in mind, we have set up a career and mentoring center on the site, where alumni can guide high school students and other alumni in their chosen career paths or search for jobs or internships to broaden their educational experiences.

We are just beginning to establish the mentor program and hope to see it grow in the coming months. We hope seniors eagerly transitioning into their new roles in college, young alumni seeking advice as they consider their career options, and our older alumni looking to enrich their résumés will all find support through the connections they make through the AIS alumni community. The benefit of the career center is two-fold. We can nurture the community we have built through helping our alumni gain valuable connections and skills, and we also have the confidence in knowing AIS graduates are equipped with an education that gives them the potential to thrive in a professional capacity.

Many of our alumni graduate from AIS and begin their search, sometimes all over the globe, for their place in their career and community. When we encourage and aid them in their search, we begin to strengthen the links in the AIS framework.
