Campers Hunt for Treasure

Full-day campers on February 18 became treasure hunters and spent the afternoon looking for treasures hidden in the Silver Pearl. They worked together as a team across different age groups to achieve their goal. Grades 1 through 5 followed encrypted Egyptian messages, Sudoko puzzles with numbers corresponding to the alphabet, and riddles about dragons, to find the buried key. Their treasure was a smoothie maker and a basket of fruit. Later in the afternoon, they experimented with various food and juice tastes, and created delicious smoothies. Students in 4K and 5K followed the older students for the first treasure hunt and even found some clues meant for the older campers. The youngest campers then hunted for their own treasure, and used puzzle pieces to put together a map. A great time was had.
