Olympic Torch at AIS
On February 23, the Grade 2 French students had a surprise waiting for them in the classroom. Matthieu Gay-Bellile's dad brought in the 2006 Winter Olympic torch. It gave the students the opportunity to share their knowledge about the Games and to notice that more nations are represented in AIS than at the Winter Games. They asked a lot of questions and had the privilege of holding the torch. They had a great time.
