Come on Board!
Some of you may have wondered what we in the Parent Organization actually do, so here is a very brief summary: The room parents, grade level reps, officers of the Executive Board, Committee Chairs, and the diverse Associations organize informational and social events, support the school with volunteers, and interact with the school leadership on behalf of the parents.
The board, committee heads and association leaders get together for the PO Council meetings to discuss topics and decide how to spend the PO funds. The next one of these business meetings, at which all parents are welcome, will be on Tuesday, March 15 at 8:30 a.m. in the SAC mezzanine. Agenda items will be a proposal of the Health, Safety, and Security Task Force, and plans for next year.
We have also started the transition process for the next school year. The candidates for the Executive Board (President-elect, Secretary, Treasurer, KG reps [4K and 5K], Primary School, Middle School and Upper School reps will be nominated by the Nomination Committee, led by current President-elect Bonnie Bokman.
