We’re Still Listening: Next Steps for Strategic Plan
Thank you to everyone who participated in the first round of the strategic plan activities. We received a tremendous amount of feedback and we are grateful for your comments. Please visit the Strategic Plan on the AIS website to read the summary of these initial discussions and to review the emerging themes thus far.
On our return from Winter Break, we will begin the next phase of the strategic plan. We will begin holding topical focus groups this month to discuss in greater detail the key themes that emerged in the first round of focus groups. Please come to as many sessions as interest you.
We will hold Town Hall meetings in February to discuss and evaluate the long-term options for AIS’ campus master plan that the AIS Board of Trustees will develop at the late January Board meeting. These options will feature a range of choices from maintaining the status quo to a full build-out of facilities. We hope the entire AIS community will participate in these February meetings.

Topical Focus Groups
These focus groups are open to the entire AIS community (parents, faculty, staff, etc.).
All groups will meet in the Auditorium from 8:30-10:00 a.m.

- Wednesday, January 11 — Primary School Facilities
- Thursday, January 12 — Middle School Curriculum and MYP
- Friday, January 13 — Math/Science
- Tuesday, January 17 — Athletics
- Monday, January 23 — Language Acquisition/Dual Languages
- Tuesday, January 24 — RAVA
Town Hall Meetings
