First Grade and Fifth Grade classes have teamed up to have reading buddies. First grade students enjoy listening to stories their buddies have picked out, and then they show off their reading skills by reading to a big buddy. In the first photo, a fifth-grade Spanish student and a first grade Spanish student buddy up, while in the second photo, another fifth-grade Spanish student reads with a first-grade Spanish student.
The computer lab is a favorite for kids of all ages. In the third photo, a first-grade French student and Mr. Alan Preis work together to find inventions on the web. The scavenger hunt used enchantedlearning.com and had students investigating the invention of interesting things such as the bicycle and cotton candy.
