Francophone Parent Association News
Your Francophone Parent Association has a new name: Ensemble. Véronique de Vaucleroy won the renaming contest and the bottle of red wine. Congratulations, Véronique, and thank you all for your great suggestions. Longue vie à Ensemble!
Our November 18th Wine and Cheese kick-off party was a great success by all accounts with 66 participants. Anthony’s put out a fabulous – and excellent! - food display in a beautiful setting. Don’t hesitate to hold parties and other functions there; we highly recommend it!
On December 5, Ensemble, with the Admission Office, hosted a French Open House to prospective French Track parents. We welcomed more than 20 guests and entertained their children while the parents received an informative overview of the school as well as a great tour and answers to most of their questions. Another success!
Ensemble is working hard to promote awareness of French cultures within our school community and to serve parents and students. With this in mind, you will receive a survey the first week back from winter break. Please take some time to complete it and return it as directed. It will give direction to our future efforts and make sure we meet your needs. Thank you in advance.

Atlanta Accueil, a not-for-profit French organization in Atlanta, is organizing an adults-only Galette des Rois activity in the AIS auditorium on January 15, 2005. We warmly invite everyone to join Ensemble at this wonderful event and learn more about this French custom. An invitation will be sent to you in the coming weeks.
