Around Atlanta

Around Atlanta has enjoyed wonderful visits to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the Alonzo Herndon Home, and the High Museum of Art’s Van Gogh to Mondrian exhibit.

In the spring semester, we will visit the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library on Wednesday, February 16, and take a guided walking tour of the Druid Hills neighborhood on Thursday, April 21. For the final tour of the year, we will visit Bulloch Hall (the childhood home of the mother of American President Teddy Roosevelt) in Roswell on Friday, May 20.

For each of these visits, we will meet at the AIS main entrance after morning carpool, have coffee together, and begin our tour at 10 a.m.
