Forensic Science Camp

The AIS Forensic Science Camp is a week-long, problem-solving exercise based on forensic science. Campers form part of an elite police task force designated to solve an outbreak of crime. Participants use a variety of techniques such as fingerprinting, ink chromatography, glass refraction, soil analysis, blood tests, and more to narrow the suspect field. Once the would-be investigators have a primary suspect in mind, they send out an arrest warrant, and a grand jury is summoned to review the findings. Camp participants have real evidence to test and are required to read their crime manual for instructions and tips on interpreting the results. They are provided with a computer with access to the police headquarters for property searches, high profile lab tests, and witness interviews. This camp isn’t for the faint of heart. It will take dedication, hard work, and a team attitude to solve the crime. Apply now at :www.aisforensicscamp.org
