Track & Field
Middle School Team

Track and Field Update (Week of May 5, 2008)
Parents/ Students,
Our AIS Track & Field season has now come to an end and, what a successful season it has been!
Both Teams were involved in the Region 5 Championship over the weekend past, held at Whitefield Academy and our Girls team finished 3rd and the Boys Team finished 4th.Many of the kids had personal best performances to finish the season. The kids walked away with a staggering 27 medals and a wonderful trophy for the Girls Team.
There was a presentation of the Conference Championship (Boys 1st and Girls 2nd) and of the Region 5 Championship on Monday (this week) at the morning conference. Highlighted at the morning conference were the Grade 8 participants, sort of a 'senior night' (as done in the upper school) recognition to these students moving on to Upper School for next year.
