Senior Athletes
Sukhi Bal
Sukhi Bal has been at AIS since he moved to Atlanta from England ten years ago, with the exception of two years in middle school. He's played club soccer since he was 7 years old, varsity soccer since ninth grade, and is a captain of the AIS boys Varsity team this year. He also participated in track and field in ninth and tenth grades. He plans to play soccer at Clayton State next year.
Davis Hermann
Davis Hermann is a native Atlantan and has played club soccer since he was eight. In addition to playing on AIS's soccer teams since seventh grade, he has also run track and field. He volunteers with International Students Against Landmines and Pro Niño.
Cassie Huntley
Cassie Huntley is a "lifer," having been at AIS since she was four years old. In addition to soccer, Cassie has led school teams in volleyball, swimming, and track and field. She has headed up the International Students Against Landmines group since she was in 10th grade. Her first choice for college is Oxford in England, to which she has been accepted pending IB exam results.
Victor Juarez
Victor Juarez, also at AIS since 4K, has played soccer all his life. He has played on such premier club teams as Concorde, Norcross, and AYSA. He plans to play soccer in college.
Ben Leblois
Ben Leblois came to AIS in Grade 4. He has played with the AIS Varsity team since Grade 9, and last year broke the school scoring record and was named MVP. His club team is the three-time Georgia State Champion and is the number one ranked team in the country. He played in the National Championship game in 2006. In addition to soccer, he has been a member of International Students Against Landmines and written for the school newspaper. He plans to attend the University of South Carolina on a soccer scholarship.
Justine Mulliez
Justine Mulliez was born in Atlanta but lived in France until she was five. She has been at AIS since Grade 1. She started playing soccer with her siblings and has been playing with the school teams since middle school. Justine has also played volleyball for four years and was the captain of the Varsity volleyball team this year. She participated as a courtroom artist in the Mock Trial competition and volunteers for International Students Against Landmines.
Ashur Rayis
Ashur Rayis has been at AIS for six years. In addition to playing Varsity soccer for the past two years, he is active in the theater department and works with International Students Against Landmines. He has played soccer since he was four years old, including middle school, JV, and Varsity soccer at AIS.
Courtney Rees
Courtney Rees is from Atlanta and started at AIS in Grade 9. She has played soccer since she was 5 years old in the YMCA program and began playing on school teams in middle school. In addition to soccer, Courtney runs cross country. She volunteers with International Students Against Landmines, Habitat for Humanity, and the Shepherd Center for CAS. Outside of school she likes horseback riding.
Charles Vanijcharoenkarn
Charles Vanijcharoenkarn entered the French track at AIS in Grade 1. Besides being the goalkeeper for the Varsity soccer team this year, he is also a violinist for the AIS Symphony Orchestra and a member of the AIS track and field team. He enjoys drama and participated in the school productions during his middle school and senior years. His other high school activities include the iHOT robotics animation team and various International Students Against Landmines events.
Harris Wattles
Harris Wattles has been at AIS since Grade 3 and began select soccer about the same time. He played with Concorde for six or seven years and has played on the AIS soccer team since middle school. In addition to soccer, Harris is also involved with International Students Against Landmines and the student newspaper. He will be attending UGA in the fall.
