AIS Student Recognized at Congressional Art Awards
On Friday, May 11, Congressman John Lewis presented the 2007 awards for the fifth congressional district High School Arts Competition at the Youth Arts Connection Gallery. Each high school was allowed to submit two pieces of work. AIS eleventh grader Arnaud Pages received an honorable mention, winning a course at the Atlanta Art Institute. This will certainly help Arnaud with his ambition of attending art school. Congratulations!
