Bookflix is a collection of nonfiction ebooks paired with fiction videos which are grouped by theme. All items in the collection are available in English and many of the ebook/video pairs are available in Spanish as well. Bookflix is especially suited for younger students or beginning readers. Gale Virtual Reference Library - Dorling Kindersley Collection (online nonfiction ebook collection)
This collection contains nonfiction ebooks at an upper elementary school level from the DK series, including ebooks on a variety of subjects in the areas of social studies, history and science. Please see the Parent Portal for password information.
A small collection of nonfiction ebooks is currently accessible in the library through Net Libraryand may be located through our library catalog. A library staff member will be happy to help parents set up an account to use Net Library with their children.

Several excellent ebook resources for young children are available online without a subscription.
International Children's Digital Library
This online library for children provides free access to children's books from around the world in almost 30 languages. The site, created by the University of Maryland, can be navigated in nine different languages and is visited by users from over 150 different countries.
An online library of antique children's books in various languages. This is a wonderful resource for older favorites such as fairy tales, folk tales, Mother Goose rhymes and older series books.
