Mission
The mission of the Atlanta International School Library is to implement, enrich, and support the mission and curriculum of Atlanta International School through resources and instruction by providing information access and promoting information literacy to enhance the joy of learning and purposeful effort for students, faculty, and staff.
Library Resources
- General Collection: 35,000 + volumes
- DVDs, Videos, and Audiobooks: Collection of fiction and non- fiction materials in multiple languages
- Periodicals: 50 periodical subscriptions, including magazines in French, Spanish, German and Mandarin
- e-Books: 48,000 + e-Books (including NetLibrary, Gale Virtual Library, and Tumblebooks)
- Subscription Databases
- 19 computers for student use
- 21 Laptop computers for checkout to Upper School students, faculty and staff
Facilities
- Story Room for Primary school students with a projection system and Multi- Format DVD/Video player
- A Computer Lab with 23 computers, a smart board, a laser printer, a scanner, a projection system and a Multi- Format DVD/Video player
- Wireless network throughout the library
